Learn to be Certified to do Radon Testing

Earn your Environmental Testing Certification!

EARN YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING CERTIFICATION!

There are numerous indoor environmental hazards which we can measure. These include indoor air, drinking water and surface hazards, all of which can cause health problems. Studies by federal, state and private scientists have determined the acceptable contamination levels, and have determined the health problems which can result from indoor exposure levels that exceed these acceptable contamination levels. We also know the most likely sources in the home environment, and thereby the ability to reduce the severity of the health problems.

PROCESS:

SHORT COURSES: You will be sent home study reading material. When ready, you attend one of our regularly scheduled half-day training classes in Culpeper VA and take the certification exam. It is during the training class that you learn how to operate the measurement equipment, and write reports. Your cost will be $100 per hazard for the home study material, plus $25 for each of your hazard testing Certificate. You must register for at least 3 different hazards per session.

ON-SITE COURSES: You attend a 2-3 day course to hear about the hazard in air, in water, on surfaces, and dangerous radiation, how to measure the hazards, and how to write reports.

FOR BOTH THE SHORT AND ON-SITE COURSES:

Step 1. Contact us to register (your name, address, phone number, email address, list the courses you wish to attend). The available times for the on-site experience will be sent in Step 2.

Step 2. We send you a confirmation, then you send the appropriate registration fee (check to CBAS, INC).

Step 3. We send you a confirmation of receipt, and the appropriate reading material.
